Founded in 2017, the Elmire Quartet was awarded second prize at the prestigious Geneva Competition and the Etrillard Foundation Special Prize for the most remarkable artistic project. It is also a laureate of the Carl Nielsen International Competition in Copenhagen.
 
The Elmire Quartet has already performed in major venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, the Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Philharmonie du Luxembourg, and the Grange au Lac in Evian. The year 2024 will be marked by its debut on the stage of the Alt Oper in Frankfurt and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of La Folle Journée in Nantes.
 
With guidance from the Modigliani, Ysaÿe, Belcea, and Ébène quartets, the Elmire Quartet is artist-in-residence at the Singer-Polignac Foundation, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, a ProQuartet grand resident, a Spedidam generation artist, and a laureate of the Banque Populaire Foundation.
